Santa was very generous this year.

We had a really nice day yesterday, with my daughter and her husband and little Emily staying now until after the baby is born (was due Christmas Eve)We visited our son and his 2 children in the morning and it was lovely to see all the children sharing and playing together. Then my son in laws parents, Sue and Dave, came for lunch and stayed till evening. It was a lovely day.
Santa was very generous to me and he brought this lovely gift from my Mum in law………..

Sue and Dave brought me this……….

It’s got some really funny quotes in it, such as this one……

Anyway, as this is just a quick blog before everyone wakes up and pandemonium reigns again, I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday and you are having a very merry Christmas.
xx

Lucky you - my mother gave me no fewer than five lint rollers. I suppose that's her way of saying I have too many pets & too much dog & cat hair on myself and my furniture.

Sit on the ground ... not likely in this frosty weather! That looks like a very entertaining book .. lucky you.

I'd heard that as the answer to "How does a Lincolnshire farmer know when to plant his potatoes?" If he can drop his keks and sit down for a couple of minutes, the soil is warm enough for planting!

Lol Shirley and Beattie, I don't think I will try this, Although I don't expect the farmers and gardeners in those days wore such flimsy undies as we do. lol....
I hope you received the gifts you wished for Hywel and Nariz.
Spring isn't so far away now Cristina, won't be long before the snowdrops are popping their heads up.
