DAFFODILS AND THE SEA.

AFTER THE RAIN HAD GONE IT TURNED OUT SUNNY STILL VERY WINDY. WENT FOR A WALK UP TO THE SEAFRONT TO SEE IF THE DAFFS WERE OUT…….
AND I WASNT DISAPOINTED AS THEY WERE ALL OUT… ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NEXT TO THE SEA THEY ARE IN A DIP AND SEEM TO HAVE DONE BETTER THAN MINE WITH THE BATTLE AGAINST THE WIND……
THE SEA WAS ROARING TODAY AND SMELT LOVELY…..
SAW THE HEATHER AND OTHER FLOWERS ON OUR WALK…. AND BROUGHT THE PIECE OF DRIFTWOOD HOME TO PUT ROUND THE POND….
NOW HOME FORM A NICE CUP OF TEA…..

Yes it was awful this morning...megan but much nicer now....the pics are up by the seafront where i live at Middleton.....

Ah, I know where you mean now. So many people seem to be poorly today, my daughter and her boyfriend both have a 'tummy bug' so they're not visiting us. : o ( (

I love your driftwood. I see it aswell near here but it's always too big for me to carry lol. The daffs looked wonderful by the sea. I love it when it's rough - much better than calm and boring lol :o))

Neellan...Ella doesnt go for walks any more as she is 15 and cant see very well.. just like to potter round her garden....

A lovely blog Holly, and enjoyed your picts! I used to live in hastings when I was a kid, used to love going down to the seafront and watching the waves! Always remember that the weather could change in minutes! Will always recall the sound and the smell of the sea, kept forever in my memories. Thank you for bringing it back for me x

The driftwood is a lovely find, Holly. What a nice place to be able to walk every day, and you've taken beautiful photos :o)
