My back garden is north facing and very cold today, wish I could turn my house round!!

Blimey you have been busy.

Not much sun here today but oh, so cold...brrrr! The NE winds certainly mean business and like you I have a spare room full of seeds and newly planted Summer bulbs. Even though it has a heater the greenhouse just isn`t warm enough!

you have been busy holly and isnt it nice to have sunshine, hope all your young plants do well, ive to repot some of mine but didnt feel up to it today so will be weekend :o)

I've been biding my time but today I bought some sweet pepper, tomato & lettuce seeds. I'll start by sowing a few of each tomorrow. I want a few to grow on my balcony & the rest I'll be taking down to the allotment.

Wow looks like lots of great compost there! you have certainly been bust and your seeds are doing very well. I got free tomato and Sweet pea seeds with Gardeners World have planted the Sweet Peas which are really taking off, but am holding back a couple of weeks with the Tomatoes as I have so many seeds that are all ready for repotting on.
I have a compost bin like yours but evwery time I take the lid off I get little furry mice jumping out and giving me a scare, so dont like disturbing them Lol

LOL.... i have mice up the top of the garden they pinch the birds bread....neve rseen any in my bin... that would make me jump...lol...... my sweet peas are doing well and the tomatoes are coming on to.... i have a spare room full of things growing.....
