I like your air plants - weird how they can live on nothing isn't it?

Your last photo made me feel very ashamed, Holly. I looked across at mine and it's very dusty! I shall have to lift it down and give it a wash! All your plants look so healthy and I am fascinated by the air plants too (and I like your fairies).

Nice collection Holly, and I like spider plants.I always put one of mine outside in a chimney pot,in the summer, and it looks good.I have never had any luck with Peace lilies, and although the foliage was healthy,I never managed to get any flowers,so don't know where I went wrong.

Nice collection of house plants, you've got there!

Have you seen my spider plant? I have to cut the baby spiders off every other year as they get so big they threaten to pull the plant off the shelf in the kitchen. Just this morning I was picking off some dead babies & leaves.

Yes, it is! I "rescued" it from a council flowerbed just the day before all the rest were pulled up & taken away to be composted!!! That was the only plant I've ever dug up from council beds though I have taken a few cutting from Geraniums but from the back of the plants where they wouldn't be noticed. They all developed Geranium rust the following year & I had to throw them all away plus a few of my own plants that had become infected. So I paid a heavy price for a few cuttings!

Thats a funny plant to put in a council flower bed isnt it.. Balcony......
Thanks Sanbaz..........

Here they put in 100s of them as edging to the beds. They don't do it every year nor around every bed. They don't grow very much during the summer so I suppose they make ideal plants. There are no flowers to deadhead either nor to clear up every week like other plants. They remain neat & compact all summer.
