Last Sunday was my birthday, my daughters and Grandaughters came down to see me…… I have been busy for the last 4 weeks going to hospital to visit my mother , and helping her now she is at home again….. she needs a lot of help at the moment , so it was nice to see my girls…..My Auntie sent me a lovely vase of flowers from interflora, as she thought my mum woudnt be able to get me anything.
it cheered me up no end………..
when i went down to help mum she had a present she bought some time ago for me in her wardrobe….. it was a butterfly box, for the garden…ive never seen one of these before………..
The girls bought me various bits and pieces, and another lovely bunch of flowers.
Itreated myself in the week to a Blue hibiscus which id wanted for a while now. i planted it out and it had some buds on it… the first bud opened on my birthday…..
My youngest daughter had made me a Chocolate Birthday cake…..
so i had a very nice birthday……….

Sounds like you had a perfect birthday Holly. Family around you, lovely flowers, presents and cake and your birthday present to yourself flowered on cue. What more could you ask for? Butterfly box is lovely, never seen one either.
