Pieris should respond well to pruning which should be done in the spring so now would be a good time to do it. I would also give it a feed and mulch and make sure it doesn't suffer from drought if we have a dry summer

Hi Holly
Is it in the shade or near to other trees? I think it would be better in the ground. I have one which is about 15 years old and it's more like a small tree. It grows very fast after pruning so that's no problem. good luck with it!

I was looking for hanging basket inspiration - I think this combo of plants works really well together. Nice work! Would you be able to tell me exactly what is in it please? I can pick out some plants but some I'm not quite sure.

They're beautiful to look at, fabulous to eat, look great on a plate and stop critters eating everything else you're growing. If you pickle the seeds, they're just like capers too- what an amazing plant & your picture does its' all round beauty great justice, Holly!

My geraniums that I brought in for the winter are now getting so tall. I will start cutting some stems and putting them in soil to start new plants for my garden. I just bought more dirt yesterday. The snow has started to melt here this week, but we may receiving more tonight.
