My return !!

Hello everyone ,
It has been a very long time since i visited you ! although not forgotten .
Unfortunately 18 months ago my Dear Husband Bob passed away , on top of that i have also moved home !! a big decision but the right one , and although i am getting on a bit now i still wanted and needed to have a Garden ! so i will be keeping up with all that is going on , and hopefully contributing , Bob loved his allotment …but unfortunately i have had to give it up as it is too much for me to manage on my own , that is where my Garden comes in , it is just the right size and very manageable , a nice patch of grass and borders , for which i have plans ! plenty to keep me interested and occupied .

Now to catch up , happy gardening to all , on the first day of Spring ! here this morning it is still cloudy and very cool , but on the bright side it will warm up and the sun will shine very soon ! .
My Kindest Regards .
Lucy .

Nearly forgot ‘Pebbles’ , my 12 year old tortoiseshell rescue cat , she was in need of TLC and is in her element in the garden although not venturing too far .

Hello Lucy, sorry to hear of your loss, must have been hard making the decision to move house and I hope you will be happy in your new home, Pebbles knows her place is with you, our female rarely strays far and will sit for hours watching all thats going on in her space.
Spending time in the garden is therapeutic, my thinking and planning usually goes on in the greenhouse, sorting out and getting the borders how you want them is as you say interesting and will keep you busy, deciding what you want to grow and where to place them can take as much time as you want, sometimes making lots of changes as you go along, I hope you enjoy putting your plans together, don't forget the relaxing part as you watch everything coming into place, be nice to see some photo's.
Welcome back Lucy and take care now.....

Very sorry to hear of your hubby's passing.
Look forward to seeing what you do to your borders.
I am currently making new borders and have been busy Diggin as well as buying plants. One of the best part of gardening...choosing the plants!
