Uma, somehow I don't think so, I didn't think of trying them, somehow they were a bit forbidding I thought. Not like gardenias say.

These look like ginger lilies,? some of the white ones smell divine.......

I passed by these flowers again this morning, and I must say, I was quite wrong - they are strongly scented, a rather sweet smell, something like gardenias.

Gurth are they tall over 4 ft?

Yes, Dd, they are. Big plants, more like 6 - 7 ft. The flowers are mostly going off now.
