About British Conifer Society

Bcs

The British Conifer Society has been established since February 2003. Committee members reflect a wide variety of interest in conifers, including nurserymen, collectors, and employees of national arboreta. They have links with other national horticultural groups and organisations, as well as with the American and the Dutch Conifer Societies. We wish to attract a broad spectrum of conifer enthusiasts and we hope the society will encourage the coming together of like-minded individuals, the sharing of knowldge and information, and the promotion, conservation and propagation of conifers. One of the society's main goals is to promote the wider use of unusual dwarf and ornamental varieties in gardens.
