Be warned. Santa brought me a Woodland Wilf gnome last year....and sadly he appears to be dissolving. It looks as though water has leaked inside him and is rotting his feet away from the inside.
I wish they'd make Morris dancing garden ornaments.

On question - UK garden gnomes

Get it into a sort of wine-glass shape, like a full sized tree?

I've sent a query to Gardener's Question Time.
I've asked if they can recommend a spray....preferably an organic one.

Has anybody else noticed this......Gnomical Trench Foot?

It was indeed a great time.
Difficult to think of a follow up though.
Perhaps the local nudist club could pop around?

Spent the day in the garden mowing and strimming and shredding.....and one other job. I had to dress the bag of my bagpipes. This involves pouring a hot jelly like gloop into the bag then working it into the leather. Did the trick though....my pipes have never sounded so good.

By beating them with sticks.

Disney drew that didn't he.

Yes........good source of potash. Don't use too much at a time and mix it about or it can turn into a sludge. Also, take care over your choice of newspaper........The Sun will encourage big brassy blooms whilst the Guardian is best for vegetables that you'd like to digest slowly.

I can't believe that there is another person in this world who offers hospital care for gnomes. Just last week, my son's girl friend, who works in the local garden centre, rescued a gnome for me from their waste bin. He'd lost a leg. Thanks though to a great art teacher at my school and a little clay, it looks like he'll make a good recovery.

So.........if I moved the pots to a quiet but sunny corner and feed them regularly, then everything should be just great?

You've been putting marijuana in your compost bins haven't you.

Some unkind people call it the bus-shelter.

I've got a cat that looks an awful lot like that one. Mine has less hair though. She's called Laptop.

I always thought that you had to try to get an open centre with the branches making a shape like a wine glass.
