I am retired and enjoy messing about in the garden which is really too large for me to cope with alone, so I have gardeners who come every week to mow the lawns and do a bit of digging etc.
The sun shines in most of the garden somewhere but the view is somewhat marred because my neighbour enjoys building piles of wood right on the boundary and I can see this from my back windows.....not a pretty sight !
I have about 1/4 acre mostly lawns because the plot is situated on top of a steepish hill and the back garden is higher than the patio level. The garden was designed when the house was built in 1972 and I have mucked about with it from time to time, still planting whatever takes my fancy at the garden centre....
