I have a 90ft length rear garden with three sheds and three lawns. My husband, Fred, died last August and put a lot of effort into making things as they should be! I did the shrubs and flowers bit. Well ... I am now 71 (still working!) and have been macheting and sawing down a lot of bushes so I don't have too much to maintain. There is also a wide lawn at the front with bushes. I try to keep low maintenance flower/shrub beds.I have 'inherited' two full compost bins - help, how do I deal with the contents? I put in Garotta about 4 weeks ago and gave them a good whirl. Is that enough? AND what is 'super phosphate' (found in a big jar!)?
