Hi everyone.
I have not been on here for a loooong time. Life got kinda hectic, my aunty died and I had to go to Devon which seemed like forever; and other stuff happened but we won’t go into that.

Here is my new best friend Mischa. She is nearly 11 weeks old. My vet has fallen in love with her as has the whole of my family. She settled in really well. No out bursts on the first night!!!

Mischa likes to get up at 6.30 am thank God my daughter gets up at this time for work so I don’t have to lol. She is as good as gold-well almost! She is a bit nippy but she has got her teeth coming through.

We say oouch and walk away from her when she does this. We also give her things she can bite.

oooh this looks painful. No toy was harmed by my new puppy lol

I introduced her to her lead yesterday she hates it!! So I have started to put it on when I feed her to encourage her that when her lead is on something nice will happen.

She’s been on a bus – and was sick all over my coat, gee thanksfor that!! haha She was on the way to the vets for her 2nd injection. aaah

She likes to travel by car. Shes a proper girlie girl if you know what I mean.

I have a list of plants that are posionous to her and 80% of my garden is off limits!!!!!!
Can anyone tell me if box hedge is ok, as I need to hedge parts of my garden off.

We had to give her a bath as she sat in you know what!!! lol. She was really good, seemed to take the experience in her stride. Even liked the hairdryer, that’s my kind of girl!!

My new baby is the prettiest little girl on the street!!

Aaaah lovely blog she's a right little cutie, the picture with the toy made me laugh, lol, nearly as big as her:-)
And no outbursts on the first night, remember when we brought our Fudge home, determined he wasn't coming in the bedroom, but after half an hour of his crying couldn't bear it and gave in, he slept in a box next to the bed good as gold all night :-)

Nice to have you back with us,Great. She is a little beauty, and takes me back to memories of our little Yorkie. He was only 3 weeks old when we got him.as his mum had 7 pups, but sadly, didn't survive, but all the pups did.We used to hand feed him, every 4 hours, from a doll's bottle..he lived till he was 16,so hope you have Mischa a long long time..so much fun,and a joy to have..:o)

Stickitoffee, I have just taken Mischa out in the garden for 3 minutes so she could experience the snow. Think you and I are thinking alike regards christmas cards lol. Mischa seemed to love the snow; she was eating it and jumping in it. I had a nice warm towel waiting fr her when we got back in the kitchen. Think all the excietement has worn her out she is asleep in her box!

Hi Bloomer, she is lovely isn't she. I bet you had a hard but rewarding job having to bring up a yorkie at 3 weeks!!
My vet says, wait for it, (all yorkie mummys will disagree with this im sure); he said yorkies are not very intelligent!!!???!! Mischa is just 11 weeks old, or she will be on thurdsay. She has already learnt to sit and wait for her dinner until she is told to take it. Shes almost toilet trained and she has learnt her name!!! Brilliant I think. Please Bloomer send me a photoof your baby. Thanks

Don't you believe it about them not being intelligent,Great.I'm sure.they are like children,..the more time you spend with them, the more they learn..Sorry I don't have a photo of him,as I am going way back now,to the
days before digital cameras and Computers....and they were still in black and White...OMG,..prehistoric or what! You won't remember those days..Lol.

did you know yorkies have hair closest to humans out of any dog ?

3 Dec, 2010

Hi Leigh, yes I know about the yorkies hair. Given her an old lead she's still fightining it!!!! she likes the snow. So when I feed the birds she comes with me on the lead. She had the local firemen waving at her yesterday as they were opposite my house and I took her out to see the blue light lol She teething at the mo and getting quite ratty with it.
