Radishes for breakfast anyone!!!

I am not feeling 100% today, so my daughter kindly made me breakfast. The one who hates gardening. Remember I told you all about her. I can only entice her into the garden to eat and mow the lawn (such as it is, more like shrub land!) The one who mows down anything that gets in her way lol
Yesterday I was saying that the radishes are ready to be eaten now, and as the girls like salads they should try some. Me and my big mouth!!! breakfast came. Wait for it……….. Fish fingers, buttered bread a cup of tea, and yes you’ve guessed it a pile of cut up radishes!!!
Fish fingers for breakfast I thought and radishes, strange!! But not wishing to disappoint her I ate them ,and to my surprice it tasted very nice. The radishes were Cherry belle, a nice, mild variety. So next time you have fishfingers for breakfast, lunch or tea have them with radishes and see what you think

Thanks Hollyeves. Got the beginings of a chest infection, chest is hurting ++. Managed to earth up my potatoes though, just missing the rain. Rather cloudy and cold today. Hope the weather is better where you are.

Hee, Hee I remember my son bringing me weetabix with jam on top! (he couldnt reach the bread!!!) and yes I ate it!! Although now he assembles rather than cooks (hes 19!!)

Interesting.....very interesting!
Perhaps you could start up an ad campaign like the weetabix one only you will have different things to put with radishes!!!
