lol GM, no probs. I've got packets and packets of seeds, some are years old, but as they're still sealed, fingers crossed.

I got in touch with the church literally just round the corner to suggest a wildflower garden project - a lot of my seeds are bee- and butterfly friendly, bought for that purpose. I suggested a communal activiity that might help bring kids into gardening, or a bit closer to nature, anway.

Had a chat with the vicar; he's going to check out what interest there'd be. so my seeds might not be scattered on unfruitful soil!

Lovely idea Fran, keep up nagging the vicar, maybe scatter them around the churchyard anyway!

it's also open space, paths across, so I don't know how much of it it actually church land - or how long wildflowers would be allowed to stay before being mown/walked over. but fingers crossed we can get a result.

Told him I did'nt want to be in charge of anything, but i'd be very willing to help out - i've been involved in "communal" projects before taht ended up as solo jobs!

Thank you very much Gill . . . seeds arrived this morning. They fit perfectly with this year's plan, which is to mainly grow flowers from seeds which I can sow directly outside - lovely mixture. :)) And thank you for the warning on the packet, lol!
