Stage '99' of garden makeover!! LOL

Well the new shed arrived last week (think it was then) and it looks really nice in its new place, quite smart, any way an improvement upon the old one at least. My gardening man started to put the path right in front of the shed and I think he has done a good job. Dont you?

The poor old lawn has taken a pounding, what with wheelbarrows of cement mixture and removal of earth, I expect it will recover!

My OH was in the shed giving it a coat of preserve while the path was being done, you can see where he has spilt some!Lol. I just made loads of cups of tea!

In two weeks time my gardening man will fill the cracks on the new path with cement (I think thats what he will use!) so we are not quite finished yet. Lol. But almost! Then…………

The shed looks great, aswell as the surrounding area. I really like the paving, and when it's been grouted it will be very nice. All those cups of tea must have helped ;o))

12 Oct, 2011

Brill Sticki! Thanks Hywel ( grouted is the word I was looking for. Lol) and yes the tea certainly must have helped, I can now fill the shed, like yours!! Lol. x

I am surprised their is not even more crazy paving on here...what with all the Mosaicing that goes on.

Looks great GM!!

12 Oct, 2011

You're going to fill your shed like mine ? LOL ! Well good luck :D

I said 'Grouted' because I didn't know the correct word. Maybe that is the correct word but I always associate it with tiles lol - I'm no DIY man at all !

13 Oct, 2011

Thanks Dd. I suppose crazy paving is like a jigsaw puzzle, my hub sits for hours at a puzzle and the paving had to be sorted into certain sizes.
Thanks Pim. your right about the mosaics, clever folk on here eh?
Thanks Lil. :~)
Hywel, I was joking about the shed, I just remember your 'shed' blog!! But we have plenty to go in there, think there will be room! Lol and the word grouted must be right as soon as you said it I knew that was right! you managed to do your paving stones in your border didnt you? So you can D.I.Y!!!!
