Finally managed to cope with cutting the lawns , But my they are in need of attention, in fact they may need digging up and re-turfing. I managed to get rid of the brambles that had encroached onto the lawn from next doors garden on the one side of my house, But cannot reach those that have entwined with some of my bushes from the neighbours garden on the other side…………..The Bushes are spiky ones, a devil to deal with.
Last week was very hot here in my small corner of Wales, and Pooch-face was huffing and puffing from one place to another, in search of the coolest spot.
I also was looking after Shadow, my son Richard’s dog and had my other son Justyn’s dogs over the bank holiday weekend………….He had come down from Aylesbury for a visit forgetting to bring dog-food bowls with him so he bought two very large plastic bowls {they are large dogs] and left them here for the next time he visits.
So to save time when Richard brought Shadow here I gave him his food in one of the large bowls………..But I hadn’t reckoned with Shadow’s peculiarities, He absolutely refused to eat from that bowl…………and I thought humans were awkward ;0)

LOL.. When my son brings his dogs he forgets the food. Brambles are a pain in the butt, I`ve been here over 30yrs and never managed to get rid completely as the roots are in my neighbours.
As to awkward pets, I have an abundance ( one of which only has 2 legs);o)
