HI KEN ,Thanks for the reply,so first i let the brussels come ,and after i have had all the brussels,then i cut off the tops,i thought that taking the tops off first would then feed the brussel sprouts,they are doing really well as i put 2 trailer loads of horse manuer in the soil ,anyway thanks again any advice is always welcome ,cheers from gingernut.

HI Hedgehogg,i am sure that this was just a bit of luck ,i got a 1lb of pink lady apples from asda 6 years ago,and as i was eating them i noticed that the pips had little routes sprouting so i potted them and from that came theses trees,that are now about 4ft. high,i just hope they do fruit idont know if they will pollinate as they are next to each other in the garden only a little more time will tell ,but thats what its all about trial &error,well thanks for your interestbye ,mark

hi there, i stopped shredding a while now,i got a small steel beer barrel ,which i sit on a couple of house bricks and i burn all my mail that i dont want ayone to see,it works perfect ,and i put the ash back into the gardennot a bad idea,good tip ,glad to help ,anyone else with anything good send it this way cheers for now gingernut
