I have made my new years resolution into a poem: I hope you enjoy it.
A new year resolution.
A new year dawns, but what will it bring?
Will the sun shine, will the birds sing?
Will there be peace and a smile on each face?
An end to bad times for the human race?
Each of us must try to be helpful and kind,
Putting bad thoughts right out of our mind.
Look after each other like we look after our garden,
Resolve to be nice, not let our hearts harden.
The joy we all have, we should spread far and wide,
The laughter and happiness we must never hide,
Let’s all make this new year the best one we are able,
And remember the baby, who was born in the stable!
