Thats pretty. I'm waiting for my weeping cherry to bloom. What zone is the UK? I am in Indiana, USA and I am a zone 5... right on the line of 5-a and 5-b.

I have one that looks like this, bought at local nursery in Hungary. I asked for a red flowering cherry, but when I read the label it said plum, so it is close to the one you have.

Funny you should say that, Andrew, I have just been reading the 'Prunus' section in the RHS A-Z and had decided it's P.cerasifera 'Thundercloud'. I shall get two photos on my page now because I am going to add it to 'my Garden'!

I think it may be a prunus of some sort, possibly P. cerrasifera (myrobalan or cherry plum) which flowers in early spring
