Marguerite.
All I can tell you is the tree had a card on it when I bought it from the garden centre some 18 months ago. The card said 'Limone Citrus Limon. Throughout the winter it was in a fairly warm shed and then brought out this year after the frost had cleared. The tree has three lemons on it from last year but I am not sure if these should now be cut off!
Hopefully you can view the picture attached.
Many thanks
Jass

Hi Jass, Why don't you tell us a bit more about the tree species which is growing in your patio. Is it in a pot? Is it a fruit tree, ornamental tree or what kind? A photo of it would also be a great help for the advisors here. See you soon.

Thank you Lorraineagle. We had quite a few a month or so ago but unfortunately we've finished the lot! They were delicious and nothing better than picking them fresh from the tree.

Well, I would like toast and butter too! But yes, you are right, nothing like fresh fruit and vegies ( the last I haven't got ).

Beat me to it Mike!. avocadoes and Grapefruit, too. You obviously give your plants a lot of TLC...so continue to do so...and give your lemon as much sun as you can manage...hope it blooms for you...they smell wonderful.

What a fantastic picture. It would look good framed in someone's kitchen!

Your lemon looks very healthy. I enjoy starting plants like this. I recently potted an avocado and the leaves are just starting to form. Very enjoyable to watch them grow.

Are you using citrus fertilizer? And if you are and have it in a pot I would use 1/4 the amount of fertilizer and only at the edge the pot.
