I cut my plants down 2 about 3ins strip off any leaves & leave in pots and cover if any frost is forcast,i suppose it would work in the ground just as well.

I never used 2like Chrysanthemums or Dahlias much until id seen sum gorgeous 1s here on GOY :) So next yr im goin2get some planted in my own garden :)

This chrysanthemum is a perenniel. It comes up year after year and spreads well too. The new shoots are already showing in Feb for this year.

I've bought two more at the Garden Centre - much smaller at the moment but maybe next year they'll compete with this one! This one was about four years old before it was planted out (it was previously in a pot and overwintered in a greenhouse) so it will be interesting to see how it gets on nexxt year
