We call it the Cascades here in the Northwest very close to me like real close, is the Cascade Hwy it goes over the Rocky Mountains. I will have to get out and take some sight seeing pics for GOY'ers. I have loved others scenic pics very much!

Yes it's fairly high I'm on the top floor 3rd. but that shot looks higher than it really is. Oh!! there comes the Amtrak passenger--- such a lady compared to the frieght ones!! Now what was I saying, oh yes, about the lift! This is a very large apt. building Amy, and is a big U shape . There is like a courtyard in the middle. There are two lifts but my apt. is at one of the open ends when looking at the U. There is exit stairs right by my door and I go up and down those when I can as it is so much closer and kind of like my own entrance . It is a very long way to the lifts! I will take some pics later on to try to give you an idea what it is like.

Yes I have gradually increased my indoor plants again! I went thru a few years of cutting back now I'm like, you said it Marquerite! That Ficus has been around a long long time and I had it in such a small pot for all that time. It finally has a new home so it should be more comfortable and happy! Yes lots of trees and the mountain you see is quite close and not real big. To the right of that is Mount Baker and the start of the Cascades. Right now the trees are hiding the Big Guy!

You live in an inside jungle, lol. That ficus can do a bit more growing. But one day....it might hit the ceiling. What have you planned for then? Thanks for inviting us inside your home. Looking outside I can see a mountain in the background and pine trees. Is that right?

It is very healthy looking. I'm not sure if you know it or not but they usually like to get pot bound before producing babies.
