Just a tiny warning - if they 'take over' then they are taking the nutrient out of the soil needed for your more precious plants, and also you have to make the decision that you won't be able to have small pretty plants in your garden as they would be smothered by the white ones. I should try to limit them to one part of the garden to give you the choice. There are lots of wild flowers you could grow with them, I am quite sure - but I don't know what you can grow in your climate.

Thanks Sid ~ Actually I like them, they are everywhere I look and they give me that wildflower look I love in the mountains.

IF you like them, why kill them?! A weed is just a plant you don't want. I have lots of daisies in my lawn and I like them there! If you want to get rid tho, I would use a hoe. If your bittercress is anything like the bittercress we get here in the UK, then it will be shallow rooting and easy to 'skim' off the surface with a well-aimed hoe.
