The centre of the border along the edge of the pool was changed to extend the cobbled area.The Astilbes at each end were resited at each corner.You can know step nearer to the water.I feel it doesn't look so fussy.
Will plant some small Irises in the Autumn.

It certainly is........I like it too......ours is far too overgrown, and it is only a barrel, as usual too many plants swamping everything.....needs an overhaul are you free?
