Round my pond

clarice

By Clarice

Round my pond

Had to put netting on as there are loads of magpies around, and a couple of years ago they took 2 of my fish, i know it was them as i saw them with my own eyes, can't throw loose netting on either as Tilly likes water so had to make it safe for her aswell.

Agree with you Carole, the other week if there was one magpie in the tree there had to be 18-24 of them all falling out with each other never seen anything like it before.

Fellow next door to me reckons they where fighting over teritory and there is a big magpies nest in the tree. TT it was Flip & Flop they took.

I remember that incident, Clarice, so don't blame you for being careful. Pond is looking good with all the plants around it.

Yes,I remember that too,Carol..amazed about the magpies ..I know it's hard when they take things, but I suppose its nature..shame it was your fish though.

it is a hsame to do this carol but i fully understand after what happened, i have netting but once the hard pond is in i may have to make something more solid to stop the heron.
