Euonymus Emerald Gold      For Sanbaz

These two are quarter standards planted in pots outside my Utility window, although they are more sheltered than theone in the front garden, they also suffered during the winter but again made a full recovery;0)

wow carole thanx for showing me, wonderfull arent they, mine says half standard but doesnt look any different to yours in height but hope it gets like this, and hope i can shape it ok to lol ;o))

These two are smaller than the one in the front garden which is half standard like yours, I m sure you are going to enjoy shaping it the first cut is the worse as you think it will never grow again, but it will lol

thanx carole, so in summer i start to make the round shape,, correct! iv seen hedges made of these and they grow fast so that makes me feel a bit better carole haha

Guys, can you please let me know just how you make trees out of bushes? I see they sell Euonymus in our nurseries but it looks like bush. Thank YOU!

you have to train it to make a standard annyshka, alot of patients and its all about taking the right shoots off when growing, some standards are grafted onto other trunks which dont grow tall like for willows etc, but i think this paticular one is trained.
