Ceanothus

About this plant

Lovely "proper" mid-blue colour. Grows too close to house, is also dying of fungal somethingness since I chopped it back the first year we were here. It took exception, but really I had no choice - reason for chopping intervention was the awful eery squeaking noise it made scraping against the side porch roof if it was windy.
So now I'm trying to take cuttings from it for a successor. Never done this before, nervous.
