About this plant

Genus: Syzygium.

Species: Syzygium fibrosum.

A hardy, evergreen large shrub or small tree. Dark reen shiny foliage. New growth bright purplish-red. Flowers large showy clusters o fwhite or apricot fluffly flowers in winter/spring. Dense clusters of pink cherry sized fleshy fruit, use for jam making. Frost hardy once established, well drained soil.
