About this plant

this orchid cactus was a cutting I took of a thirty year old at the univ. It was blooming big white blooms with a strong jasmine smell all over, just huge, and on investigating the white variety is harder to find. Definitely one of my treasures, but mine even four year later is still really small. I get one or two lengths a year and all are still a little skinny. Any tips for increasing the paddle widths or helping blooming would be welcome. The oldest lengths have started lobing out like the mother plant. I am guessing it might have to be 5 or more years old before maturing to flower. Again.....tips are welcome...lol. :-)
