Tiarella

There are two of these. one is under the magnolia, the other is at the front of the border to the left of the big mirror. They are evergreen, and in spring they send up masses of little spears of pale pink or white flowers which give them their common name. They go on flowering for a long time, but need no care except to remove the dead flower stems in the autumn. Just pull them out, or cut them with scissors.
