Evergreen Honeysuckle

Genus: Lonicera.

Species: Lonicera henryi.

This evergreen honeysuckle has large clusters of tubular, scented flowers, purple, red and yellow-red in colour, produced in early to mid-Summer. Leaves lance-shaped, dark green, retained year round. Use on walls, fences, trellis, pergolas, pillars or grow through large shrubs. 5m X 5m in 10 years. Will protrude 1m from support. Full sun to medium shade, tolerates all soil conditions, except extremely dry. Hardy.

For the right hand side of the metal arch. Simply cut honeysuckles back if they get too big.
