Primula cortusoides
Small rosette-forming deciduous perennial with mid green leaves. Umbels of 2-15 rose-red, pink to red-violet flowers held above the plants. 30cm. Partial shade, moist soil, neutral to acid. Will tolerate sun if kept moist at all times.
These are woodland plants in the Cortusoides section. They have soft, hairy, more or less round leaves, which may be lobed or slightly toothed, and loose umbels of bright pink flowers.
