Spotted Laurel 'Golden King'
Genus: Aucuba.
Species: Aucuba 'Golden King'.
bog standard evergreen shrub, grows fast. Hack it back whenever you want...it will just keep growing. It's what we gardeners call 'bombproof' ! It brings light to dark shady places, but this one is planted behind the bare stems of the silver barked eucalyptus on the back fence. Just shape it as you want it...keep it close to the fence...cut any outward growing branches, or it will take over and become too bushy.
