Dwarf Holly Fern
Genus: Polystichum.
Species: Polystichum tsussimense.
Origin - Japan. This evergreen Oriental fern is a neat and low growing pale green fern with holly-like tips, and a mass of silvery -white scales which gives a striking silvery appearance to the cool, dark and shady positions this fern loves. One planted August 2010 under the Buddleia at the back central fence.
