About this plant

Genus: Amaranth.

Species: Amaranthus paniculatus.

I grew this for first time in 2007. It flowered from early July until the frosts came. Together with the claret sunflowers our front garden was a riot.
Last years seed sown in various places, side bed near Mahonia, next to compost and in new bed near fence by pond.
15th March. New seeds, ribbons and beads, sown. Some in front red bed, some in back near Photinia.
