sow in pots in greenhouse once weather starts to warm up keep moist but bewere of overwatering!

Genus: Lilium.
Species: Lilium regale.
swapped with AndrewR for poppy seeds, i need to sow them in the greenhouse in the spring and as they will get quite tall i have planns to put them both in the cottage garden bed infront of the greenhouse, and also along washing line bed, with my oreintal lillies.
17th march 2008 - i have sown 5 small pots in the greenhouse.
22 april, some are starting to germinate, the top of the soil had gone a bit green - so avoid damp rot i have pricked them out into fresh compost, and i have also thrown some more of the seeds direct into the cottage garden bed and also the washing line bed.
