A walk round the garden..

Lily of the valley cannot be kept away for long. But that is ok, it does no harm and adds scent to the air.

Aquilegia cannot be kept away either. Again, no problem; They can do whatever they like.

Daphne bholua ‘Jacqueline Postill’ is putting on lots of lovely new growth.

Geraniums doing well but lacking flowers due to the lack of sunshine so far this year.
Inherited the Bamboo (Phyllostachys nigra?).

Inherited the Bamboo under the Acer too. No idea what that one is. It is a bit thuggish, but it hides the oil-tank.

Camassia cusickii. Beautiful, been in a year.

Under the Acer from lawned area.

Under the Acer.

Back garden. Hosta ‘Sum & Substance’ just been planted in the gravelly bit under the wall. More shade-lovers will go with it soon.

Epimedium perralderanium. Hanging onto the raindrops of earlier.

Clematis growing up the obelisk, but I have completely forgotten which one it is.

More Aquilegia.

..and some more

Rhodo’ bursting at the seams. Any ideas as to which it is would be glady recieved.

Bergenia needs sorting. Getting a bit unruly under there.

And a glimpse over the back gate at the stray Beech.

I do have a thing for Epimedium.
I have serious thoughts about a bed for them alone. I certainly will be adding more.
