New Frog in town...

Hey look what I just bought for Michael’s patch…couldn’t resist!
Here he is with a can of Fosters by the fire & on the coffee table….

Got him in Homebase & the red Gerbera …Mike’s fave flower…he always commented on them when he saw them…in Morrisons……so they just had to be mine!

Think I’ll bring all the frogs in for the winter this year as the weather can crack them & ruin them…so Michael’s patch will be frog-less for a while.

A quick look at the last few flowers I have left at the moment…I need to get some autumn/winter flowering plants for a bit of colour….but the heather is pretty, the good old Cosmos is still going strong & the last little red flower of the Potentilla…

The yellow rose has been overtaken this year by a travelling Lycesteria which camped out under the kitchen window & I should have sorted it but didn’t get round to it.
The orange of the Nasturtium which survived the caterpillars always draws me to it & the Sedum is out for the butterflies…

Finally…a white Glad & ….wonders will never cease…the Morning Glories are coming out at last!!!!

Hope you like the new addition to the froggy menagerie …the weather here today was sun, wind, cloud, rain…in that order!!

You're pretty nifty with that camera of yours Fluff. Have you been to any classes, or belong to a club? It would do you a right favour because you've obviously got the talent! Nice clear photos!

Thanks everyone...just sat down...& everyone's said such nice things.
Carol & Hywel...thank you...glad you liked the pics...
Yes I guess it can be a popular bathing venue for the birds next year Denise!...
Thanks Bob & Spritz...it was chilly last night & is again tonight tho' we are going out to spot the ISS again at 8.16!
Morgana & balcony...he is cute isn't he...& I was sooo pleased that the MGs finally arrived before the frosts!!
Hey OB...you're the 3rd person I've shown the frog to who has one already...great taste eh? Are you going to bring him in for the winter? I'm afraid he'll rust!!
As for you Digger...can you stop showing off??!! Not only your pecs but the fact that it's warm where you are?!! As Marie says...the rest of us are shivering!
Hi Orgratis...nice to hear from you in Oregon...the nasturtia (!) have been ravaged by caterpillars but you are right ...in nature orange & purple go very well together!
Sounds like you have the same weather as us Lily...I haven't watered for 2 days as I've been so busy with my Mum & the cosmos went right down but after a bucketful they are right back to full colour!
And Merfyn...no I just point a digital camera & cross my fingers!

Thanks all....you're a fab bunch.x

Hi Fluff!

Great taste indeed I say. Won't be bringing mine in as when they rust/go green, it adds to the character I think.

Don't want him to stay looking new but you do as you see fit...great little chap tho!!
