It's a cat's life...out of the rain.

The rain just hasn’t let up for so long now my cats have taken up permanent residence in the greenhouse! The tomato plants aren’t giving up any space for them though so they just squeeze in where they can.

Phoebe always goes on the left & Morrissey on the right & never the twain shall meet!! They tolerate one another but aren’t best buddies – Mosey is the boss & will bully little Phlobs from her dish & steal her food but she can fly at him when he pushes his luck, with spits & hisses.

She also lies in wait for him to pass by & then jumps on him – he thinks this is a childish game & refuses to be ruffled from his usual calm.

Mosey is a middle – aged chap of some 12 years old & has always been aloof as a young cat but now loves nothing better than lots of fuss & attention! Phoebe on the other hand is a little show off…& doesn’t know the meaning of dignity!! But she’s a cutey really!

This was a just a little feline frolic to take your minds off the wretched weather!

Lovely blog. I love watching the interaction between cats.
Looks like a real pussycats paradise in there Fluff. What more could a cat want, warm, dry, plenty of space to play games and a covered toilet too! At least you haven't got them mooching around the house bored because it's raining.

I'm going to show off here and say that I've recently learned how to download photos for myself. (Only cos I got fed up with waiting). I get it right most times in the end!
By the way, what is that next to the cat in the last photo? Just noticed it.

Oh yes...forgot that was there! It's a cat made out of scrubbing brush type material given to me by a kooky friend years ago!
I thought Phlobs would be spooked by it when she first saw it but I think she gets more interesting conversation from that than she does from Morrissey!!

Heh heh...no I did have it in the house but it started moulting all over the place so had to be banished!
I still see it every day tho' & Phlobs cuddles up with it most days.
