i am a very amateur gardener if i like the look of a plant i tend to buy it sometimes with disastrous results and sometimes with wonderful results i live and learn.i have just completed a 3yr project on redesigning my small garden,raised flower beds, artificial grass (a great success) and hard landscaping i now have a haven where i can change the colour scheme to suit my mood and so low in maintenance i actually enjoy weeding.
