Hide away number two

Evening all,
Well it’s been a funny day weather wise, a shower then really sunny,
So i thought use hide away number two “the greenhouse”
(number one is the workshop) both places are good hideaways as her indoor’s can’t stand oil/grease or the inside of the greenhouse,
Come to think of it it’s the same when we go to the brocante (car boot sales)
I head for what the wife calls the “rusty counter” and she heads for the waste of time counter ie jugs/pots and any dust collectors she can find.

And so not only have i been cleaning like mad but ive sown the red/green peppers and some hot pepper seeds i had from last years pkt,
All are now sitting on the soil warmer bed in the greenhouse along with the geraniums ive taken from the workshop and put in the greenhouse,
Having done this it’s a sure sign a cold spell will happen!!!!!! But we’ll see.

I like all of you just can’t wait to get started on the garden “but” the ground is still very wet.

Anyone had anything like a nice days gardening out doors today ?

I had a good day yesterday tidying and firming up stakes with my dad's old axe ( I've inherited it , and I think it was his dad's before him ).
Greenhouse attended to on Monday , just waiting to put seeds in .
A lovely warm day today ; a beautiful walk along the beach .

I tidied up the hydrangeas today, hoping there won't be a frost later! Also moved the dead stems from some perennials, so feeling quite virtuous.

Oh yes Dungy, it was gorgeous here, no fleece needed today just an old cardie, I spent ages outside pottering around, cutting out dead woody stems even did a bit of transplanting of some perenials...

Lincslass,
You musn't go around wearing fleece!
Go to your local Red cross, they'll sort you out and dont worry about the old cardie!!!

Give to your plants.

(wearing fleece indeed what will the neighbours think)
