Morning mower heads,
Yes its ended “the rain” As victor mildew would say
The gardens still like a bog with a hidden durprise “ie the lawn look so inviting” until you walk on it and its then you know how much waters under it.
But mustnt grumble its nice to have a garden in the first place.
We’ve visitors arriving today and the work list of things to do is long,
A pity most of the daffs/tulips have finished flowering and the farmers fields all around the house have been sown with corn this year,
I was hoping he’d sow sunflowers “once they’re in bloom it really is a show to see”
We’re in the middle of acres and acre’s of sun flowers but for some reason he’s not sowing them.
Nothing like natures natural picture to get gardeners feeling good.
Well lets hope this last week of May turns out tobe a dry one ?
All these old sayinging like dont cast a clout until may is out etc have really been true this year,
whats that one for “JUNE” something about flaming june!!!!!

It's not wet here but cold and windy, though the forecast is good for Saturday which is my day out, so I'm not too bothered:)
Would be nice to have a flaming June, but I don't hold out too much hope!
