Well i did tel you in you live in france "May’ isn’t a good time for any work being done ref builders etc as the french have 4 bank holidays And today is yet another one

And just say the word “Bank holiday” and the rain gods send buckets of the stuff down And true to form its bank holiday and it’s pouring down.

Its been the worst early summer weather here for years,

As the norm we have water butts near empty this time of the year but not this year.

No doubt about it dull wet weather really brings the worst out in us,
Like many gardeners ive so much to do and just cant get out there to do it.

Am i glad ive a work shop to hide in,
I tend to take “lottie” (sheepdog) in there with me and just potter so im thinking of making a nest bow today,
Ive some bits of marine ply knocking about and its a job i do in the winter as the norm but as the weathers like a winters day i’ll make it today and put it away for later use.

Ive owl /bird/bat box’s all over the garden in trees and on the gable end of the house,
they offer shelter to those who want it and they do get used so its worth while doing.
Well I hope your weather’s better than it is here!
Regards Dubgy.
