Oh Im getting excited now – got home from work yesterday afternoon to pick the girlies up from school and found a lovely fat parcel from Thompson & Morgan by the kitchen door – all my seeds that I had ordered have arrived – yippee!!!

The girlies wanted to go on their scooters so we went for a trundle down the road to my mini allotment. I took my camera to take a snap of it now it has all been rotavated out, but failed as i forgot to put the new batteries in the camera!

The soil looks quite good and rich already – I was chatting to Mr G who has most of the area, and he told me that the strip I have hasnt been cultivated in two years, so I will just have to see how it goes. The area is aparrently prone to attack by pigeons who are particularly keen on cabbages, there is also a bit of a snail problem nearer to the hedges. Im going to list the veggies I try out in my plants section and keep track of how they are growing.

Anyway better get back to work – coffee break is over. TTFN.

t&m deliver seeds reallly speedily. they are usually excellent quality too. it is great when you find an awaited parcel. i bet you just wanted to get sowing rather than take the girlies out. well done for being a good mum. dont forget to have your own 'me time'.
