It has started to snow here , about 1/2hr ago , and it is settling , even though it has been raining since last evening !
OH is watching a nail-biting ( so he would have me believe ) Rugby match .
I was going to get started in the greenhouse , but it is really just too grim to be out there , it will have to wait a little longer .
I read that everything is a bit late this year , and certainly there is no frog “frenzy” started . Has anyone else seen them yet ?
I have put a picture of the hiacyinths on that I "rescued "from the cellar last week , they smell of spring . The daffodils are warming up for tomorrow , out to lunch with daughter and her inlaws .

According to the forecast its s'posed to be spreading to us as well, its been raining nonstop for the last couple of days, right miserable and the temp is dropping.
The frogs are back in our ponds and the birds are going daft with spring fever, lol, your Hyacinths look lovely no matter which way you spell the name, I can imagine the smell which is one I really like......

snow forecast here (SE London) tomorrow ~ about 3-5cm. yuk! they said it would be raining in the week though so hopefully that will wash all the snow away. I keep thinking spring is on its way, crocuses opening and the start of some of the daffodils, but winter doesn't seem to want to go yet!

I'm sat with the OH watching that nail biting rugby, while we both nursing a virus curtsy of our granddaughter. We've closed the blinds against the grey skies and constant rain...do hope it doesn't turn to snow. Spring seems to be coming in with one step forward and two steps back.
I also love Hyacinths, their perfume can fill a room. The crocus are flowering, but looking very wet and bedraggled. Daffs are still in very tight bud, not wanting to face the world just yet.

Thanks for your comments everyone , I think everywhere has had a taste of snow now , and the dreadful wind .
I'm pleased that we have so many Rugby fans amongst team GoY .
I hope Mothering Sunday was good for those who celebrated . Everywhere seemed very busy .
The garden will have to wait , a little armchair gardening is in order , it's all in the planning thereof !
Wrap up all .
