All the Garden Centres and most shops think it's Christmas already, don't they! Why wish your life away?

I don't think all kids like snow. I never did.
Nor I never liked Christmas either. - too much fuss for me even when I was little. sorry.
And I wish they'd leave the clocks alone. Well I'm sounding like an old misery. lol

That's one of the things I love about living here Spritz - not a sign of Christmas anywhere yet! Apart from the snow on the mountain range of course, but then no-one ever managed to rein in Mother Nature.

Hywel your not on your own, i dont like xmas either, i did when i was little & my children where small, but now its all about money, & it only last for one day, years ago it lasted through to new year,dont like dark nights either so dreading the clocks going back tonight.

I m just going to spare a thought for anyone on a night shift tonight. That extra hour while your working is really depressing in the middle of the night .Used to put my watch back before I went to work so felt I went an hour early.I do like Christmas however.

I used to work on a special care baby unit. One year I was on night duty for both changes of the hour. It was a real headache trying to calculate very sensitive drug doses over a 12 hour period - or rather and 11 or 13 hour period!
