We were there in July and wasn't like this but we did see gorgeous Agapanthus.

The biomes look as though they have been made of bubblewrap!

Lovely colour. Do you have to feed it something to keep that colour?

They certainly look fat and lovely. I wish mine were as nice. Haven't seen this variety before. Was it grown indoors?

Sweet, baby chicks :) How old are the children? I work with preschoolers. I know that it's a good experience for the children to be exposed to animals, but I feel sorry for the animals. The children are pretty rough on them and the teachers really need to pay close attention to make sure the animals aren't injured. I know from experience, this makes a lot of extra work for the teachers. For young children with little self-control short visits are best, unless the children aren't continuously handling them.
