This little chap has become a regular visitor to my garden – at least once a day but usually more.

This cheekie chappie has been a couple of times too! Little tinker!

red squirrel??!! how fantastic

20 Jun, 2012

Yes. He's quite cute really. This is the one (I think) who I caught nibbling on the raspberry canes earlier in the year. He can have as many bird nuts as he likes as long as he leaves my fruit bushes alone!

I don`t get either of these, I used to have a grey squirrel visit occasionally but even he has gone now, I`d never get any work done if I did, I`m bad enough with my regular visitors, lovely pics...

Thanks eveyone for the nice comments. Fortunately we don't seem to have the grey squirrels here. And woody has become a very regular visitor together with a few greenfinches that I didn't have last year.

Lovely to see so much wildlife :o)

23 Jun, 2012

We saw one of the native red squirrels lolloping across the road ahead of the car the other day - SOOOOO pretty, but when we got close, we could see he/she was much closer to a bitter chocolate colour, and so much daintier than the grey ones and with great, long tufts on the ears. A great privilege. That woodpecker is a very fine fellow, isn't he?

I've noticed much more wildlife this year Terratoonie. I hope it means that I'm doing something right!

Gattina, I'm so pleased to have the little woody, he's so gorgeous. And I'm really pleased to say that the crested tit has been back on a couple of occasions.

23 Jun, 2012

You lucky man! That must be quite something to see.

24 Jun, 2012

The crested tit was special Gattina; There are a couple of photos of him somewhere in my old blogs if you're interested.

By the way that's lucky woman not man!

Diggin - I am SO sorry! I wouldn't offend anyone like that knowingly. Grovelling apologies!

No problem Gattina.
Hope you enjoy Bruge Pamg.

Bruges is one of my favourite cities, Pam. It's SOOOOO beautiful. We always used to stay on a barge/hotel moored on one of the canals, and they served the most incredible breakfast ever! Have you been before? If we had the money, we'd go there every year. We particularly enjoy the enormous Sunday market, spread across acres.
Have a wonderful time.
Sorry, Diggin' - hijacked your blog.
