pps. I forgot to include torn up plain cardboard in the recipe, the end product is 'humus'.
Everyone can do it !

Being pedantic ... Peat free so long as your original compost was peat free. But I know what you mean.

The original peat in compost would have rotted down after a years watering. No sign of it anyway.
I know all composts vary.
Its carrying them thats my problem. Much easier to carry a pack of compressed wood chippings, and the other ingredients. Also recycling is better value for money.
